Nacho libre sucked

If you could, which film would you un-watch or which book would you un-read?

The film would be Nacho Libre. What a waste of time! Luckily both Billy and I realized that it was not going to get any better and left. We saw it at the drive in a couple of years ago and I haven't felt the same since. I believe I lost some brain cells that night.

The book... hm... Occasionally books make me mad, especially at the end. John Grisham's The Partner, and The Chamber come to mind. Anna Karenina pissed me off in many ways, and so did Zen And The Art of Mortorcycle Maintenance, (that's going back aways...) and of course Satanic Verses. I'm mad that Dean Koonz hasn't come out with his 3rd Frakenstein book, although it's release date was supposed to have been 2 years ago... So which do I wish I could un-read? I guess Anna Karenina, as it wasn't on my list of 100 classic books like I thought it was and I really didn't like it or her, so there...

This is the stupidest lie ever told. I seriously must have thought that my next door neighbor when I was about 8 was an absolute moron, because we were in the field behind our houses and we found this huge sheet of ice with really cool designs on the underside... I was lazy and didn't want to carry it back to her house, so I told her I was allergic to ice. That's right... allergic to ice.

What do you find interesting or unique about your family history?

We're fairly certain that my paternal grandmother's uncle never married his 'wife' although they had 3 children together (quite a scandal back then I imagine) and he actually had an entirely separate family in Ohio where he worked half the year.

Oh, and on my mother's side, her 7th great grandfather was Daniel Boone.

Culture QotW: Home Cookin'

How many meals do you cook at home each week? What do you do for the other meals?

In the summer I would have to say that we eat at Sutton Creek each at least once a week, if not twice. Occasionally we'll order in a pizza or Chinese. The remainder we eat at home, although in the summer it's mostly hot dogs, hamburgers and quick, easy food. In the winter we don't get out nearly as much, and the dinners are a bit more substantial: Fajitas, spaghetti, lasagna, etc.

How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?

Including 3 pairs of golf spikes, 1 pair of fake Crocs, and 1 pair of gardening shoes, I have a total of about 16. I'd say there are about 6 pairs that I don't wear more than a few times a year. My oldest pair are from 1995 and are mint condition Bass (sort of) hikers, green and orange, yeah baby!
