Quickie
It seems that all winter long, and it was long, I was waiting for spring for several reasons, but mostly to golf. Why? It's fun, it's social, it's active, it's great to be outside, there are so many reasons. I am not disappointed by the course's beauty, and I've already had so much fun out there, seen people I've missed this winter, sampled the menu, played a few rounds, (yes, the back is better) and judging by my inability to lift my arms and shin splints, I know I've been getting some much needed exercise.
However.
My game sucks. I don't have game.
I thought that by reading up on golf, watching it on TV, and 'thinking' about golfing I would be better, but man, I'm brutal. It makes me feel that I shouldn't have been anticipating the start of the season so much... ugh.
So here I am at home today, on what is by far the most beautiful day so far this year, ( about 77*, and NO WIND). Why you may ask? There are three reasons, and it has nothing to do with my sucking... A) I'm damned sore after golfing three days in a row, B) I'm slightly sunburned C) Billy was supposed to golf with one guy, so I thought I'd give him his man time, but as it turns out, that guy had to cancel, so instead his is with PF, who is apparently joining SC today, (very cool).
I guess I'll go back to square one, and see what I can do with this crazy game...
